The 90-Day Family
Protection Blueprint

From $0 to $25,000 in Annual Premium

Step-by-step phone scripts · Copy-and-paste text messages · 30-day social media plan · Warm market drip campaigns · Daily activity targets

Prepared for: Ur Financial Physicians, Primerica Representative

Audience: Families ages 25–60 with kids or grandkids

Edition: November 2026

Start Here

This blueprint is your game plan for the next 90 days. It is built for one kind of person: someone who loves their family enough that protecting them matters. Your job is to find those people, start a caring conversation, and help them act now, not “someday.”

How to use it

  • Read Sections 1–4 once. They give you the “why,” the math, and the daily plan.
  • Keep Sections 6–9 open on your phone. Tap Copy to grab any script, text, or post.
  • Words in [brackets] are blanks. Fill them in before you send.
  • Track your numbers every day on the scoreboard in Section 4.
  • Check Section 11 before you post or send anything new.

Section 1

Why Now: The Numbers Behind the Mission

Half of American families are not protected, and most of them know it. The problem is not that people don’t care. It’s that nobody has sat down with them. That’s your opportunity.

52%
of U.S. adults own any life insurance. That means about half do not. (LIMRA & Life Happens, 2026 Insurance Barometer)
92 million
adults (38%) say they need life insurance or need more of it. (LIMRA & Life Happens, 2026 Insurance Barometer)
47%
say their household would feel a money hit within six months if the main earner died. (LIMRA & Life Happens, 2025 and 2026 Insurance Barometer)
#1 barrier
Cost is the top reason people give for not buying (45% of those with a need). (LIMRA & Life Happens, 2026 Insurance Barometer)
4%
Only 4% of people under 30 correctly guessed the yearly cost of a basic term policy. (InsuranceNewsNet report on the 2026 Insurance Barometer)
62%
use social media when researching financial or insurance products. (LIMRA & Life Happens, 2026 Insurance Barometer)

What this means for you

The need is real. Cost fears are often wrong, so replace a guess with a real number. The clock matters, which gives you honest urgency. And families still want a person to talk to before they decide. Be that person.

Section 3

The 90-Day Roadmap

Three phases. Thirteen weeks. One clear checklist for each week. Check items off as you go.

Timing note

Starting in November? Your 90 days will run through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. During holiday weeks, lean on texts and social posts and book appointments for the first two weeks of January. The new year is a natural “fresh start” moment, so plan a strong push right after January 1.

Phase 1 · Launch

Days 1–30

Build your list, launch to your warm market, and hold your first presentations with your trainer. Target: $6,000 in annual premium.

Week 1 · Set Up

  • Write your “why” in 3 sentences. Read it every morning.
  • Build a list of at least 150 names (use the memory jogger in Section 5).
  • Rank every name A, B, or C. Star anyone married with kids, a new parent, or a new homeowner.
  • Set up a simple tracker (spreadsheet or CRM) with a column for each drip touch.
  • Role-play the C.A.R.E. call with your trainer or upline leader at least 3 times.
  • Update your social profile: clear photo, “helping families protect what matters most,” and your licensed-representative title.
  • Book your first 5 appointments with your top A-list names.

Week 2 · Go Live

  • Start Drip Campaign A with your top 50 names.
  • Hit 20 outreach touches every working day.
  • Post Days 1–7 of the 30-day social plan.
  • Hold 5 presentations. Bring your trainer for field training.
  • Ask every appointment for 3 referrals.

Week 3 · First Wins

  • Add the next 50 names to Drip Campaign A.
  • Write your first applications. Start Drip Campaign C for each new client.
  • Send handwritten thank-you cards within 24 hours of each appointment.
  • Post Days 8–14 of the social plan.

Week 4 · Review

  • Count your numbers. Find your weakest step (contact, set, show, or close) and fix it first.
  • Move “not now” contacts into Drip Campaign B.
  • Post Days 15–21 of the social plan.
  • Checkpoint: about 6 households and $6,000 in submitted premium.

Phase 2 · Momentum

Days 31–60

Turn clients into referrals and grow your list every week. Target: $15,000 total.

Week 5

  • Finish the 30-day social plan (Days 22–30). Then repeat your best posts.
  • Call every new client for a policy delivery meeting and referral ask (Script 10).
  • Add 15 new names to your list this week.

Week 6

  • Host a free 30-minute “Family Money Night” (in person or by video). Invite your B and C lists.
  • Book follow-up reviews with everyone who attends.
  • Run Campaign D life-event texts for anyone with recent news.

Week 7

  • Hold one “referral-only” calling block (people referred to you are often warmer).
  • Review your scripts. Keep what works. Drop what doesn’t.

Week 8 · Review

  • Check your real average premium per household. Update your math.
  • Checkpoint: about 15 households and $15,000 total.

Phase 3 · Multiply

Days 61–90

Work the full system every day and finish strong. Target: $25,000 total.

Weeks 9–10

  • Re-run Drip Campaign A with every name added since Day 30.
  • Send the Week 12 “re-ask” text from Campaign B to everyone who said “not now.”
  • Hold a second Family Money Night.

Weeks 11–12

  • Add one extra presentation per week if you are behind pace.
  • Ask clients for a group-text introduction, not just a name.
  • Follow up on every pending application. Help clients finish any exam or paperwork steps.

Week 13 · Finish & Plan

  • Final push: call every open “let me think about it.”
  • Checkpoint: 25 households and $25,000 in annual premium.
  • Write your next 90-day plan using your real numbers.
  • Celebrate. Thank the people who helped you.

Build Your Warm Market List

Your list is your business. Aim for 150 names in Week 1, then add at least 15 new names every week. Don’t judge anyone. Just write the name down.

Memory jogger: who do you know?

CAcquaintances and social media contacts. Warm them up with social and Drip A before calling.

Write down for each name

  • Name, phone, and how you know them
  • Married or partnered? Kids or grandkids? Ages?
  • Any recent life event (baby, home, job, wedding)
  • Rank: A, B, or C
  • Drip campaign and the date of the last touch

Section 6

Step-by-Step Phone Scripts

Every call follows one simple framework: C.A.R.E. You care about these families, so lead with that. Practice out loud until the words feel like your own.

The C.A.R.E. Call framework

C
Connect
Start personal. Ask about them, their kids, their life. 20–30 seconds.
A
Announce
Say why you’re calling. Be honest and excited. Name Primerica.
R
Raise curiosity
Ask one question that makes them think about their family.
E
Earn the appointment
Offer two time choices. Invite the spouse. Confirm by text.

Before every call block

  • Pick your 20 names before you start.
  • Stand up and smile. People can hear it.
  • Have your calendar open with two times ready to offer.
  • Keep each call under 5 minutes. Sell the appointment, not the policy.
  • Log every call right away.

Script 1 · Family & Close Friends (“I Need Your Help”)

Use for: Your A-list: people who love you and want you to win.

Step 1 · Connect

YOUHey [Name], it’s [Your Name]! Do you have two minutes?

YOUHow are you and [Spouse] doing? How are the kids?

Listen. Let them talk. Be genuinely interested.

Step 2 · Announce

YOUThe reason I’m calling is I have some exciting news. I just started my own business with Primerica. I help families protect their income and get on a plan with their money. You’re one of the first people I wanted to call.

Step 3 · Ask for help + raise curiosity

YOUPart of my training is sitting down with 20 families I care about to walk them through a free Financial Needs Analysis. It takes about 30 minutes. Would you and [Spouse] help me out? Your honest feedback means a lot to me.

YOUAnd who knows? You might find out something about your coverage you didn’t know.

Step 4 · Earn the appointment

YOUIs Tuesday evening or Thursday evening better for you both?

Always give two choices. Never ask “when are you free?”

Step 5 · Lock it in

YOUPerfect. I’ll text you a reminder. Please make sure [Spouse] can join, since this affects you both. My trainer, [Trainer Name], may join us too. Thank you so much. This means a lot!

Script 2 · Reconnect (Haven’t Talked in a While)

Use for: Old friends, former coworkers, people you used to be close to.

Step 1 · Connect

YOU[Name]! It’s [Your Name] from [where you know them]. It’s been way too long! I saw [something from their social media] and had to reach out. How are you?

Step 2 · Announce

YOUI’ll be honest about why I’m calling. I started a business with Primerica helping families make sure their kids are protected if something happens to a parent. When I started, I realized how many people I care about have never had anyone sit down and look at this with them. You came to mind because I know how much you love your family.

Step 3 · Raise curiosity

YOUCan I ask you a quick question? If something happened to you tomorrow, do you know how long your family would be okay with money?

Pause. Let them think. Most people aren’t sure.

YOUThat’s exactly what I help with. It’s a free 30-minute review, and there’s no pressure.

Step 4 · Earn the appointment

YOUWould [Day] or [Day] work better for you?

Script 3 · Coworkers & Acquaintances (“Quick Question”)

Use for: People you know, but not well. Short, respectful, and easy to say yes to.

Step 1 · Connect + permission

YOUHey [Name], it’s [Your Name]. Quick question, and feel free to say no.

Step 2 · Announce

YOUI’m building a business with Primerica helping families with life insurance and money planning. I’m looking for a few busy parents to give me honest feedback on a 30-minute family protection review.

Step 3 · Raise curiosity

YOUDo you know if your work life insurance stays with you if you ever leave your job?

If they aren’t sure, that is your opening.

Step 4 · Earn the appointment

YOUWould you be open to taking a look? What’s easier for you: a lunch break this week or an evening video call?

Script 4 · Life Event (New Baby, New Home, Marriage)

Use for: Anyone with big news. These moments create natural urgency.

Step 1 · Connect

YOU[Name]! Congratulations on [the new baby / your new home / your wedding]! I’m so happy for you. How is everyone doing?

Step 2 · Announce + raise curiosity

YOUCan I share why I’m calling? I work with Primerica helping families protect what they’re building. Big moments like this are exactly when families need to check their protection. A new [baby / mortgage / marriage] means more people are counting on your paycheck.

YOUHave you two had a chance to look at what your family would need if something happened?

Step 3 · Earn the appointment

YOUI’d love to give you a free 30-minute review so you know your family is covered. Would this weekend or early next week be better?

Script 5 · Grandparents & Empty Nesters

Use for: Ages 45–60 who love their kids and grandkids.

Step 1 · Connect

YOU[Name], how are those grandkids? I love seeing your pictures.

Step 2 · Announce

YOUI wanted to call you personally. I started a business with Primerica helping families protect each other and plan ahead.

Step 3 · Raise curiosity

YOUCan I ask you something? Have you ever thought about what you’d want to leave for your grandkids? Or how your final expenses would be handled so your kids wouldn’t have to carry that?

Listen closely. This is about love and legacy, not a product.

Step 4 · Earn the appointment

YOUI help families plan for exactly that. It’s a free conversation, and you’ll walk away knowing where you stand. Would a morning or an afternoon work better for you?

Script 6 · Referral Call

Use for: After a client introduces you. Ask the client for a group text first (see Text R2).

Step 1 · Connect + name the referrer

YOUHi [Name], this is [Your Name]. [Referrer] asked me to give you a call. They said you’re a great [mom / dad / friend]. Did they mention I’d be reaching out?

Step 2 · Announce

YOUI’m a licensed representative with Primerica. I recently sat down with [Referrer]’s family for a free review of their life insurance and money plan. They thought you’d want the same peace of mind. Of course, I keep everything about their situation private.

Step 3 · Earn the appointment

YOUWould you be open to a 30-minute look at your family’s plan? Is a weekday evening or a Saturday morning better?

Script 7 · Voicemails

Use for: Keep it short, friendly, and curious. Always send a text right after.

Voicemail A · Warm market

YOUHey [Name], it’s [Your Name]. Nothing urgent. I have something exciting to share and a quick question for you. Call or text me back at [Your Number] when you get a minute. Talk soon!

Voicemail B · Referral

YOUHi [Name], it’s [Your Name]. [Referrer] asked me to reach out to you. I’ll send you a quick text as well. My number is [Your Number]. Have a great day!

Script 8 · Confirmation Call (Day Before)

Use for: Cuts no-shows. Call, don’t just text, for first appointments.

Confirm

YOUHi [Name], it’s [Your Name]. I’m looking forward to seeing you and [Spouse] tomorrow at [Time].

YOUQuick favor: please have any current life insurance info handy, from work or personal policies, plus a rough idea of your monthly bills. That helps me make the most of your time. Are we still good for [Time]?

Script 9 · “Let Me Think About It” Follow-Up Call

Use for: 1–3 days after a presentation when they didn’t decide.

Step 1 · Reconnect to their why

YOUHi [Name], it’s [Your Name]. I’ve been thinking about your family since we met. You told me [their why, e.g., you want the kids to stay in their home and school no matter what].

Step 2 · Ask

YOUDid you and [Spouse] get a chance to talk it over? What questions came up?

Answer every question. Don’t push. Clarity creates confidence.

Step 3 · Next step

YOUGreat. Let’s get your application started. It takes about 20 minutes. Is tonight or tomorrow better?

Script 10 · Policy Delivery + Referral Ask

Use for: When the policy is issued. This is where your business multiplies.

Step 1 · Celebrate

YOU[Name], congratulations. Your family is protected. How does it feel knowing that’s taken care of?

Let them answer. Their words become their story.

Step 2 · Ask for referrals

YOUI have one request. My business grows through people like you who care about their friends. Who are three people you love, maybe friends with kids, new parents, or new homeowners, who deserve this same peace of mind?

Step 3 · Make it easy

YOUWould you be open to sending a quick group text to introduce us? I’ll make it easy. Here’s what you can send.

Show them Text R2 on your phone and let them send it.

Handling Common Objections

Use the Feel, Ask, Answer approach: show you understand, ask a question, then give a short, honest answer. Then go back to two time choices.

“I already have life insurance through work.”

YOUThat’s great that you have something. Can I ask: do you know how much it is, and whether it stays with you if you change jobs? Many workplace plans are tied to the job. The review just makes sure what you have matches what your family would really need. If you’re fully covered, I’ll be the first to tell you.

“I can’t afford it right now.”

YOUI hear you, and that’s exactly why I want to sit down with you. A lot of people guess the cost is much higher than it really is. Research from LIMRA shows most people overestimate it. Let’s at least find out your real number. If it doesn’t fit your budget, that’s okay.

“I need to talk to my spouse.”

YOUOf course. I’d want you both there anyway, since this affects you both. What evening works for the two of you?

“Just send me some information.”

YOUI’d be glad to. The thing is, the right plan depends on your family: your income, your kids’ ages, and your bills. A brochure can’t tell you what you need. Give me 30 minutes and you’ll have real answers. Is Tuesday or Thursday better?

“I’m not interested.”

YOUNo problem at all. I appreciate you being honest. Can I ask one thing? Is it that you feel fully covered, or that now just isn’t a good time? … Would it be okay if I checked back in a few months? (Move to Drip Campaign B.)

“I’m too busy.”

YOUI totally get it. With work and the kids, life is full. That’s why I keep it to 30 minutes, and we can do it by video after the kids are in bed. Would 8:30 on Tuesday work?

“I’m young and healthy. I don’t need it.”

YOUThat’s actually the best time to look at it. Age and health are big factors in what coverage costs. And life insurance isn’t for you. It’s for the people who count on you.

“Is this one of those MLM things?”

YOUGreat question. Primerica is a publicly traded financial services company (NYSE: PRI), and I’m a licensed representative. My only goal today is to help your family get protected. Fair enough?

“Let me think about it.”

YOUAbsolutely. Can I ask which part you want to think over: the coverage amount, the cost, or something else? … Let’s set a time on Thursday to talk it through so it doesn’t slip.

A drip is a planned series of touches. It keeps you caring and consistent, so no one slips through the cracks. Put every name into one campaign and track the date of each touch.

  • Campaign D (life events) → send any time big news happens.

  • Leave 10 real comments on warm-market posts (not just likes).

  • Add anyone who shows interest to your list and start Campaign A.

DM 2 · Poll answer “No” or “Not sure”
Hey [Name]! I saw your answer on my poll. You’re not alone. Most people aren’t sure! Want me to help you find out in about 30 minutes? It’s free.

DM 4 · Story reply
Ha! Love this, [Name]. 😄 How are you and the family doing?

Week 1 · My Why

Introduce yourself, share your mission, and build trust.

Day 1Launch announcement

Format: Photo of you (smiling, natural light)

Big news! 🎉 I’ve started my own business with Primerica helping families protect their income and plan their money.

Why? Because I’ve seen what happens when a family isn’t ready, and I don’t want that for anyone I love.

This month I’m sitting down with 20 families for a free 30-minute review. Want to be one of them? Comment “FAMILY” or send me a message. 💙
Day 2My why story

Format: 60-second selfie video

Here’s why I do what I do. [Tell your real story in 3–4 sentences: who you’re protecting, what you saw, what you want for other families.]

If you love your family, this matters. Let’s talk. 💙

#PlanProtectProsper #FamilyFirst
Day 3Question post

Format: Text graphic

Parents and grandparents, real question:

What’s ONE thing you’d want your kids to always have, no matter what happens? 👇

I’ll go first: a home they never have to leave.
Day 4The 92 million stat

Format: Stat graphic

About 92 million adults in the U.S. say they need life insurance or need more of it. 😳

That’s a lot of families hoping nothing goes wrong.

Not sure where you stand? I’ll check for free in 30 minutes. Send me a message.

Day 5Behind the scenes

Format: Photo: studying, training, or your workspace

Who has a question about life insurance they’ve always been afraid to ask? Drop it below. No question is silly!
Day 6Who I work for

Format: Family photo

These are the people I work for. 💙

Everything I do comes back to one question: if something happened to me, would they be okay?

Can you answer that question for your family?
Day 7Sunday reflection

Format: Calm photo or quote graphic

Sunday reminder: the best gift you can give your family isn’t a thing. It’s peace of mind. 🙏

Have a blessed week, friends.

Week 2 · Myth-Busting

Teach simple truths. Show you are the helpful expert.

Day 8Myth: “It’s too expensive”

Format: Myth vs. Fact graphic

MYTH: Life insurance is too expensive. 💸
FACT: Most people guess way too high. Only 4% of people under 30 correctly guessed the yearly cost of a basic term policy.

Don’t guess. Get the real number. It’s free to find out. Message me “REAL NUMBER.”

Source: 2026 Insurance Barometer Study, LIMRA and Life Happens.
Day 9Myth: “My work coverage is enough”

Format: Myth vs. Fact graphic

MYTH: “I have life insurance at work, so I’m all set.”
FACT: Work coverage is often tied to your job. If you leave or change jobs, it may not go with you.

Do you know what happens to yours? Let’s find out together. 💼
Day 10The six-month stat

Format: Stat graphic

47% of households say they’d feel a money hit within SIX MONTHS if the main earner passed away. ⏳

Six months. Rent, groceries, car payment, childcare.

If that’s your family, let’s fix it this month. Free review, 30 minutes.

Source: 2026 Insurance Barometer Study, LIMRA and Life Happens.
Day 113 questions every parent should answer

Format: Carousel (4 slides)

Can you answer these 3 questions? 👇

1️⃣ How much money would my family need if I wasn’t here?
2️⃣ How long would my current coverage last?
3️⃣ Does my coverage stay with me if I change jobs?

If you paused on any of them, send me a message. I’ll help you get clear answers.
Day 12Term life in 60 seconds

Format: Short video

What is term life insurance? In plain English: it covers you for a set number of years, like while your kids are growing up and your house is being paid off. 🏡

Simple. Smart. Built for families.

Questions? Comment below!
Day 13Poll

Format: Story poll

It’s a hard question. But it’s one you can answer, and fix, in 30 minutes.
Day 16Grandparents & legacy

Format: Photo with grandparents or kids

Grandparents, this one’s for you. 💛

What do you want to leave behind for the next generation? Memories, values, and maybe a head start.

Day 17Single parents

Format: Text graphic

To every single parent doing it all: I see you. 💪

You are the plan, the paycheck, and the safety net. Let’s make sure your kids have a backup plan too. Free, private, no pressure. Send me a message.
Day 18The talk couples avoid

Format: Text graphic

The conversation most couples avoid:
“What happens if one of us isn’t here?”

It feels heavy. But families who talk about it often sleep better.

Need help starting the conversation? I can guide you both. 💬
Day 19This week’s wins

Format: Photo of you (no client details)

This week I sat down with [Number] families. Each one left with a clearer picture of how to protect the people they love. 🙌

(Post only if true. Never share client details.)
Day 20Who taught you about money?

4. You decide what’s next. No pressure.

That’s it. Ready? Send me a message.
Day 24New parents

Format: Baby shoes or nursery photo

New parents: you just became someone’s whole world. 👶💙

The best time to protect that little one is now, while you’re thinking about it. Let’s make sure your plan grows with your family.
Day 25Don’t guess

Format: Text graphic

Nearly half of people say their guess about the cost of life insurance was a “gut feeling” or a “wild guess.” 🤷

Your family deserves better than a guess. Let me get you a real answer.

Source: 2026 Insurance Barometer Study, LIMRA and Life Happens.
Day 26Live Q&A

Format: Live video (announce the day before)

Going LIVE tonight at [Time]! 🎥 Ask me anything about life insurance:
• How much do I need?
• Is work coverage enough?
• What does it really cost?

Drop your questions below and I’ll answer them live!
Day 27Don’t wait

Format: Text graphic

There’s never a “perfect time” to get your family protected. ⏰

But the best time is while you’re healthy and thinking about it. Let’s get it done this month.
Day 28Thank you

Format: Photo of you

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has cheered me on, shared my posts, and trusted me with their families. 🙏💙 I don’t take it lightly.
Day 2930 days of lessons

Format: Selfie video

30 days into my business. Here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Most families want to be protected. They just don’t know where to start.
2. People guess way too high on cost.
3. Love is the real reason anyone does this.

What questions do you have? 👇
Day 30Final invitation

Format: Photo of you or family

If you love your family enough that protecting them matters, let’s talk. 💙

I have a few spots left this month for a free 30-minute family review.

Comment “READY” or send me a message. Let’s plan, protect, and prosper together.

Section 10

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Most new representatives don’t fail from a lack of talent. They fail from a few avoidable habits. Skip these, and you’ll be ahead of the pack.

1
Hiding behind social media
Social media warms people up. The phone books appointments. Do your Power Hour first.
2
Pitching in the first text
Lead with the relationship and curiosity. Save details for the appointment.
3
Meeting with only one spouse
Decisions stall. Always invite both partners.
4
Not asking for referrals
Ask at every appointment, every time, even if they don’t buy.
5
Prejudging people
Don’t decide for someone that they “won’t be interested.” Let them choose.
6
No follow-up system
Many people need several touches before they say yes. Use the drip campaigns.
7
Skipping confirmation calls
No-shows waste your best hours. Confirm the day before.
8
Talking product instead of family
People buy for love, not features. Keep the focus on their why.
9
Promising prices or approval
Final cost and approval depend on underwriting. Never guarantee either.
10
Not tracking numbers
What you measure, you improve. Log every day.
11
Going it alone
Use your trainer for field training. Learn by watching, then doing.
12
Stopping after a slow week
Activity is the cure. Stay consistent for all 90 days.

Section 11

Guardrails, Assumptions & Sources

Trust is your most valuable asset. Protect it the same way you help families protect theirs.

Professional guardrails

LicensingOnly discuss and sell life insurance in states where you hold an active license and appointment.
Primerica approvalPrimerica has rules for advertising, social media, and testimonials. Confirm every post, script, and message meets current Primerica guidelines and get any required approvals before you use it.
Texting & calling rulesSend personal, one-to-one texts to people you know. Do not use mass or automated texting without proper written consent. Follow federal and state Do Not Call and telemarketing rules.
Honest statsUse the statistics in this blueprint with their source line. Don’t round up, change, or invent numbers.
No fake storiesOnly share real client stories with written permission and no private details. Mark sample posts “use only if true.”
PrivacyNever share one client’s details with another, even in a referral conversation.
No guaranteesNever promise a price, approval, or outcome before underwriting is complete.
ReplacementsIf a client already has coverage, follow all required replacement rules and forms. Never advise canceling a policy before new coverage is in force.

Assumptions used in this blueprint

  • You hold an active life insurance license and Primerica appointment in your state.
  • Your goal is $25,000 in annual premium submitted within 90 days. Some applications may not be issued, so aim for about 15% extra (about 29 households) as a cushion.
  • The $1,000 average premium per household and the funnel rates in Section 2 are planning assumptions, not Primerica data. Replace them with your real numbers after your first few weeks.
  • “Presentation” means a Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) or protection review, done with your trainer when needed.
  • All scripts and posts are starting templates. Edit them so they sound like you.
